WebCamping on Angel Island is a backpacking experience. Sites are from 1 to 2.5 miles from the ferry dock. Transportation is not provided to the campsites. Bicycles are allowed. Paved and dirt access roads have an elevation gain of up to 250 feet. Weekday ferry service to Angel Island during the winter months is limited and subject to change.
