Wild life everywhere however did complain about the undesirable rats that would abound once dark & run over the top of tent & even chew there way through the fly! WebBeach camping North Stradbroke Island Camping is only allowed in designated camping areas and a 4WD is required for access. Main Beach has 15 access tracks, 7km south of the causeway access. Flinders Beach has 12 access tracks, which start 1.5km from Adder Rock Beach. If you decide to camp on the beach, remember a 4WD permit is necessary.
