WebAug 16, 2024 · I'm swapping a 2002 suburban cab, onto a 2001 GMC Yukon XL chassis with an 8.1. My 2002 has the drive by cable and the 8.1 is the drive by wire. I'm fine with going to the cable but just wondering if anybody has any tips or any knowledge on how to do so. Thanks. The early 01-02 DBW setup is terrible. The 03+ is nice but completely different.
