WebNo! Don’t buy. I bought a gen 4 3 weeks ago and had to return. The firmware update to make the base station work only over usb greatly degrades the sound performance. Gen 4 is not ready for series x. If you want to use on pc with optical, fine. If you can plug into your tv optical, also fine. But do not buy for usb only.
