Webb30 apr. 2013 · PIONEERING KIT. If your troop or camp puts together a pioneering kit, it should contain lashing ropes that are cut to standard lengths: 10, 15, 20, 30 and 50 feet. Both ends of these lashing ropes should be properly whipped. It also helps to color-code the ends of all ropes with a bit of paint to denote each length. http://www.usscouts.org/mb/mb084.asp
